The Sioux City Art Center announced that on July 21, the public will be able to observe the exhibition Local Perspectives.
According to the Center, this new exhibition is comprised of work by artists who reside within 50 miles of Sioux City. The Center said that the exhibit was scheduled to open on May 15. However, due to the COVID-19 shutdowns, the unveiling was rescheduled for a later date.
During the delay, the staff made the exhibition available on July 11.
The Center strongly encourages visitors to wear masks and social distancing is required. Moreover, hand sanitizer stations are available for those who need it.
All touchpoints are frequently disinfected by the staff. The Art Center’s Facebook page will feature weekly selections for those who prefer to stay at home due to the coronavirus crisis. Staff said that the best opportunity to experience the exhibition is from virtual resources.
