37.3 percent of Briar Cliff University students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 37.3 percent of Briar Cliff University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Briar Cliff University has 976 undergraduate students, of which 55 percent are women and 45 percent are men, and a total student body of 1,229 students. Of these students, 307 men and 151 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Briar Cliff University with the most participants are all track combined (111), football (68) and basketball (54).
