City of Storm Lake issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
The City of Storm Lake will soon be accepting bids for the CDBG Housing Sustainability Owner Occupied Exterior Home Improvements Program. The project requires all onsite workers (excluding electricians and plumbers) to have Lead-based Paint Training Certification.
The City has arranged for a Lead Paint Training Class to take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (lunch on your own) at Storm Lake City Hall located at 620 Erie Street.
Please register by calling 641-355-4072 or email justin@sc-ic.com with full contact information and the name of the individual(s) who will be attending the class. Once registered you will also need to sign up to receive your unique ID number.

The cost for the class is $150 and will be paid by The City of Storm Lake for those who will be submitting bids.
