City of Sioux City issued the following announcement on Sept. 30.
The City of Sioux City Engineering Division announces the closure of the intersection of West 18th and Allan Street beginning October 5, 2020. The work is anticipated to be complete in 40 working days (approximately December 2020).
The West 18th St. and Allan St. Utility Repair project includes construction of paving, storm sewer infrastructure, and sidewalk affected by a water main break at West 18th Street and Allan Street.
Motorists are advised to reduce speed, drive cautiously, and obey all traffic control signs with regards to this closure.
