City of Storm Lake issued the following announcement on Oct. 23.
Due to a drop in temperatures, the Sunrise Campground and Parks Restroom facilities will be closing for the season. Shutting the water off protects the water lines from freezing, breaking, and causing the need for expensive repairs.
The City appreciates the public’s understanding of the situation.
