Please join us as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Welcome Home. A ribbon cutting event will be held on Wednesday, August 25 at 10:30am. A short program and open house will follow immediately after.
For a decade, Community Action Agency of Siouxland has sheltered homeless families through its Welcome Home program. From the beginning, they have been focused on connecting each family with the resources necessary to provide positive, long-term results. They are proud to say that over the past 10 years, nearly 280 families have walked through the doors. Of the families that have stayed with them more than half have permanent housing and 91% continued their employment or found new employment.
Welcome Home is primarily privately funded and been so fortunate to have so many generous people and organizations contribute to the success of Welcome Home.
