City of Sioux City issued the following announcement on September 09.
Fall Fest returns this year as the popular family-friendly festival will entertain locals and visitors on Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10. Held each year on the second weekend of October, Fall Fest 2021 offers a weekend of fun designed for residents and visitors to enjoy the fall season, spend time with friends and family, and showcase Sioux City attractions.
Many fall-themed events are planned, including pumpkin decorating, mask making, haunted houses, hayrack rides, games, scavenger hunts, tasty fall treats, costume contests, and crafts. Several attractions are free or offering reduced admission along with special fall programming.
Organizations involved in Fall Fest 2021 include: Betty Strong Encounter Center, Cone Park, Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center, ibp Ice Center, LAMB Arts Regional Theatre, LaunchPAD Children’s Museum, Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, Long Lines Family Recreation Center Climbing Wall, Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation, Nightmare on 4th Street & The Fear Factory, Palmer’s Old Tyme Candy Shoppe, Scarecrow Farm, Sioux City Art Center, Sioux City Farmers Market, Sioux City Historic Preservation Commission, Sioux City Public Library, Sioux City Public Museum, Sioux City Railroad Museum and Tyson Events Center/Fleet Farm Arena.
