WASHINGTON, D.C. – On June 21, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) voted for a congressional resolution to override President Biden’s veto of Republican legislation to stop his $400-billion student-loan bailout.
“Since the beginning of his administration, President Biden has wasted taxpayer dollars on liberal nonsense left and right. He firmly believes that Iowa families, farmers, and small businesses should fund his socialist vision for America,” said Rep. Feenstra. “Last month, I joined my Republican colleagues to repeal the Biden Administration’s student-loan bailout, which would wrongfully require Iowa taxpayers to pay for college graduates’ education. Today, I upheld my commitment to Iowa taxpayers once again, by voting to override President Biden’s veto of commonsense legislation to protect Iowans from footing his $400-billion tab.”
