The City of Sioux City Engineering Division announces the closure of the intersection of 11th Street and Jennings Street. This closure will allow City crews to make repairs to the storm sewer at this location. The closure is anticipated to start the morning of July 11, 2023 and be complete the afternoon of July 14, 2023. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained during this closure. A detour utilizing Virginia Street, 12th Street, Jackson Street, and 10th Street will be available during this closure. Other routes may be available as well. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, drive cautiously, and obey all traffic control signs with regards to this closure.
