WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra, a Republican from Hull, has voted in favor of impeaching Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. In a statement released today, Feenstra expressed his reasons for supporting the impeachment.

Feenstra accused Mayorkas of intentionally failing to secure the border and protect American families. He pointed out that under Mayorkas' watch, individuals with dangerous ties to China, terrorists, drug traffickers, and millions of illegal immigrants have entered the country without proper vetting. In his view, their failure to address these issues has reinforced his decision to support the impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas.
