Yesterday, U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra voted in favor of the Coast Guard Authorization Act, which subsequently passed in the U.S. House of Representatives.

"Ensuring that our military remains the world’s strongest fighting force is a top priority for me and vital to our national security. From patrolling our waters to seizing deadly fentanyl from the drug cartels, the Coast Guard helps intercept criminals and keeps our communities safe," said Rep. Feenstra.

Feenstra expressed his pride in supporting the troops and emphasized the importance of fully funding the Coast Guard, particularly in light of China's efforts to strengthen its navy and extend its influence across global oceans.
