WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) announced significant legislative achievements for Iowa with the introduction of the Farm Bill in the U.S. House of Representatives. The bill incorporates language from 10 bills introduced by Feenstra, seven bills he co-led, and eight bills he cosponsored.

“The Farm Bill is a vital investment in our producers, our economy, our international competitiveness, and American agriculture,” said Rep. Feenstra. “That’s why I’ve been very involved in the entire process – meeting with Agriculture Chairman GT Thompson, visiting farms throughout my district, and listening to the suggestions and concerns of Iowa farmers and our agricultural community.”

Feenstra highlighted his efforts to strengthen crop insurance protections, open new export markets for Iowa agriculture, reduce wasteful spending in the SNAP program, overturn California’s Prop 12 mandates, and restrict Chinese ownership of farmland. He also emphasized initiatives to expand rural broadband access, secure fair market prices for cattle producers, and invest in Iowa biofuels.

Feenstra's contributions include:

- **Precision Agriculture Loan Program Act**: Promotes precision agriculture loans.

Feenstra also co-led several key bills:

- **Future FARMER Act**: Reauthorizes Food and Agricultural Sciences Education account.

- **Farm to Fly Act**: Advances Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) research and development.

- **ACE Agriculture Act**: Promotes Agriculture Advanced Research through USDA.

- **A-PLUS Act**: Expedites safe processing of beef.

- **Butcher Block Act**: Provides grants and loans for small meat processors.

- **Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act**: Allows schools to serve whole milk.

Additionally, Feenstra cosponsored eight other bills:
