U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) voted for and the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act on September 18, 2024. This legislation aims to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to ensure that illegal immigrants found guilty of sex offenses, domestic violence, child abuse, or similar crimes can be punished and deported.

“The Biden-Harris administration’s open-border policies have allowed criminals to sneak through our border, Chinese-manufactured fentanyl to flood our communities, and terrorists to enter our country. We’ve also witnessed horrific and preventable crimes against women and children at the hands of illegal immigrants,” said Rep. Feenstra. “Illegal immigrants found guilty of sex crimes, domestic violence, or child abuse must be held accountable for their actions and swiftly deported. Americans deserve safety and security, and this legislation ensures that those who prey on innocent women and children are punished.”
