Today marks the one-year anniversary of the October 7th terror attacks in Israel. U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra from Hull, Iowa, addressed the occasion with a statement reflecting on the events that transpired.
"One year ago today, the world watched in horror as Hamas terrorists invaded Israel and murdered more than 1,200 people in the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust," said Rep. Feenstra. He highlighted ongoing concerns about regional tensions and noted that "Hamas continues to hold captive innocent civilians and escalate tensions in the region with the backing of Iran."
Feenstra emphasized his support for Israel, describing it as "our strongest ally in the Middle East." He affirmed that "the United States will always stand with Israel against vicious terrorists and evil regimes."
The statement underscores continuing international focus on security issues affecting Israel and its neighboring regions.
