U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra has announced that Brad Moline and his daughter Ava, turkey farmers from Manson, Iowa, will attend President Trump's address to a joint session of Congress on March 4, 2025.

Feenstra expressed enthusiasm for hosting the Molines at the event. "I am excited to welcome Brad Moline and his daughter Ava as my guests to President Trump’s joint address to Congress," he stated. The Moline family farm, celebrating its centennial in 2024, is a long-standing enterprise in Calhoun County. Sixteen-year-old Ava contributes by selling 2,000 turkeys every Thanksgiving.

"Ava’s example is proof that the next generation will honor and cement Iowa’s status as an agricultural powerhouse," Feenstra added. He emphasized his commitment to sustaining rural farm traditions in Iowa through legislative efforts such as passing the Farm Bill and combating bird flu outbreaks.

"Representing the second largest ag-producing district in the country," Feenstra noted, "I remain committed to protecting our family farms, supporting our turkey farmers, and ensuring that legacies like the Moline family’s can be preserved and passed along."
