House passes resolution for victims of January air disaster

This week, the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed a resolution to express condolences to those affected by the air disaster at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The tragic event occurred on January 29th, 2025, claiming the lives of 67 individuals, including children.

U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra supported the resolution and commented on the somber occasion. "The air disaster at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport that claimed the lives of 67 people, including children, was a tragedy beyond comprehension," he stated. He emphasized that "our entire nation continues to mourn this unthinkable loss of life and joins the family, friends, and loved ones of the victims in honoring their lives and memories." Rep. Feenstra further expressed his sympathies by saying, "I, once again, extend my deepest condolences to those who lost cherished friends and family members and continue to endure unimaginable pain and heartache."
