U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra of Hull has expressed his support for a continuing resolution that aims to maintain government operations through the end of the fiscal year. The resolution is designed to align with President Trump's America First agenda, which emphasizes tax cuts, border security, energy independence, and fiscal responsibility.

In a statement released after casting his vote, Rep. Feenstra emphasized the importance of supporting military personnel and border patrol agents. "The American people support President Trump’s America First agenda of tax cuts for families, border security, energy independence, and fiscal responsibility," he stated.

Rep. Feenstra highlighted the resolution's role in ensuring financial support for troops and funding for border patrol agents while pursuing broader policy goals such as extending tax cuts and enhancing domestic energy production. He said, "My vote for this clean, fiscally conservative continuing resolution ensures that we pay our troops and fully fund our border patrol agents while continuing our work to extend the Trump Tax Cuts, lock down our border, unleash American energy production, and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in our government."

Furthermore, Feenstra reaffirmed his commitment to collaborating with the Trump administration on initiatives aimed at providing tax relief for Iowans and reducing energy costs through American resources. He concluded by saying: "I’ll keep working with the Trump administration to deliver tax relief for Iowans, give our border patrol agents the resources that they need to protect our communities, and lower energy costs with American oil, gas, and homegrown biofuels."
