U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra has urged Iowa farmers and producers to apply for economic relief through the United States Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency (FSA). The opportunity arises from the American Relief Act, which was passed in December and includes $10 billion designated for economic relief to support farmers.

Feenstra stated, "Last December, I voted for the American Relief Act, which was signed into law and included $10 billion in economic relief for our farmers. Starting today through August 15th, our producers can apply for relief at their local FSA office or online at fsa.usda.gov/ecap."

He expressed gratitude towards Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, saying, "I thank Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins for her leadership." He also encouraged any farmer needing assistance with the application process to reach out via his office's website or by phone.

Feenstra emphasized his commitment to ensuring long-term stability for farmers by stating, "I remain committed to passing a five-year Farm Bill that delivers long-term certainty for our farmers and producers."
