Today, U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra of Hull voted in favor of a budget resolution designed to extend the provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and to further President Trump's full America First agenda. This measure is crucial as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is set to expire at the end of the year, which could lead to a significant increase in taxes for American citizens.
Rep. Feenstra explained his support: "At the end of this year, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act expires, which would result in a massive tax hike on Americans. That’s why I voted for a budget resolution to unlock the process of extending these tax cuts and delivering tax relief for our families, farmers, workers, and small businesses."
He highlighted that the resolution also enables the government to "enact President Trump’s entire agenda of border security, energy independence, and fiscal responsibility." Feenstra emphasized the responsibilities American leaders have: "We have an obligation to the American people to restore U.S. energy dominance, support our border patrol agents, grow our economy, and deliver on our full Republican agenda."
