On Sunday, March 23, former East High School standout Brylee Hempey’s current college team, the South Dakota Coyotes, won 10-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Dakota Fighting Hawks.

The game took place at Nygaard Field. This was their third matchup against the Fighting Hawks this season.

The Coyotes’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Nygaard Field against St. Thomas Tommies.
