On Friday, Feb. 28, former West Monona High School standout Lexi Lander’s college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former West Monona High School standout Lexi Lander’s current college team, the Augustana Vikings, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Washburn Ichabods.

The game took place at Mid-America Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Ichabods this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Mid-America Sports Complex against Rogers State Hillcats.
