U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra, a Republican from Hull, cast his vote in favor of a resolution denouncing the increase in antisemitic attacks within the United States. The resolution addresses recent incidents that have targeted Jewish Americans.
Feenstra expressed his concern over the rise in antisemitism, stating: “The alarming rise of antisemitism across our country is a despicable insult to our national character and values. The vile terror attack against innocent people peacefully marching in support of Israeli hostages and the disgusting murder of two young staff members with the Israeli embassy are just the latest examples of hatred and violence targeting Jewish Americans.”
He emphasized his commitment to opposing such acts by saying: “I voted to condemn antisemitism in all its reprehensible forms because it is our duty to stand up for our Jewish friends and neighbors. Antisemitism has no place in the United States and must always be denounced in the strongest possible terms.”
