Randy Feenstra, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 4th district, shared several updates on his Twitter account on June 13, 2025. Feenstra has been serving in Congress since replacing Steve King in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa, in 1969, Feenstra is an alumnus of Dordt University.

On June 13, Feenstra expressed solidarity with Israel through his tweet: "The United States stands with Israel."

Later that day, he commended former President Trump for securing a trade deal with China. He emphasized the positive impact on Iowa's agricultural sector by stating: "I applaud President Trump for securing a trade deal with China...President Trump is an incredible friend to the American farmer!" At 3:18 PM UTC, Feenstra thanked both former President Trump and Secretary Zeldin for their support of Iowa farmers and biofuels producers by expanding Renewable Volume Obligations (RVOs) for ethanol and biodiesel. He highlighted the potential benefits of this decision by tweeting: "This decision will drive investment in our rural communities, support our farmers, create jobs & strengthen U.S. energy independence."
