Joni Ernst, a U.S. Senator, recently shared her thoughts and legislative initiatives through a series of tweets addressing fiscal policies, international security concerns, and animal welfare.

On June 19, 2025, Ernst introduced her proposals to save taxpayer dollars through what she refers to as the "Big, Beautiful Bill." Her tweet outlines several key measures: "Ending welfare for politicians," "Stopping unemployment payments for jobless millionaires," and "Selling off empty government buildings."

Later that day, on June 19, 2025, Ernst expressed concerns regarding Iran's potential threat to both Israel and the United States. She emphasized the importance of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons by stating: "Iran poses a threat not only to Israel — but also to the U.S. They cannot be allowed access to a nuclear weapon."

On June 20, 2025, Ernst announced a successful effort in collaboration with White Coat Waste Project aimed at halting animal testing practices deemed unnecessary. She highlighted the Trump administration's decision to cease funding for certain experiments by tweeting: "The Trump admin has stopped wasting millions on torturous cat constipation experiments at the Department of Defense. Proud to have led the charge with @WhiteCoatWaste to put a stop to this."
