Statewide, Polk County recorded the highest number of people relying on SNAP, amounting to 50,973 in 2024.
Overall, families relying on the program in 2024 lived across 211 households, in comparison to 300 in 2015.
Since 2015, $8,550,344 has been allocated for Ida County as part of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
