Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th district since 2021, has expressed his support for President Trump's proposed legislation through a series of tweets. The bill, referred to as "One, Big, Beautiful Bill," aims to introduce significant tax reforms.

On July 3rd, 2025, Feenstra highlighted the bill's impact on the death tax. He stated that "President Trump’s 'One, Big, Beautiful Bill' increases the exemption for the death tax." He further explained that this provision would save two million family farms and ensure farmland is passed down through generations within families rather than being acquired by foreign entities.

Later that day, Feenstra addressed opposition from Democrats regarding the bill. He tweeted at 17:10 UTC that "Democrats are delaying and blocking the LARGEST tax cut for American families, farmers, workers, seniors, and small businesses in history." He asserted that once liberal opposition is overcome, Republicans will fulfill their mandate by passing President Trump's proposed legislation.

Finally, at 17:45 UTC on July 3rd, Feenstra urged action on the matter with a succinct message: "Let’s pass President Trump’s 'One, Big, Beautiful Bill!'"

Randy Feenstra has been an active political figure since serving in the Iowa Senate from 2009 until he took office in Congress in 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and educated at Dordt University where he graduated with a BA in 1991; he continues to reside in his hometown of Hull.
