Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted on social media his support for several major legislative actions signed into law by President Trump. The posts addressed topics ranging from combating illicit drugs to strengthening the national economy and supporting agriculture.

On July 18, 2025, Feenstra commented on a new anti-drug measure: "The signing of the HALT Fentanyl Act – which I voted for – is a historic moment in the fight against illicit fentanyl and the drug cartels. We are taking decisive action to keep fentanyl out of the United States and save precious lives."

Later that day, Feenstra posted about another legislative development concerning digital currency: "President Trump just signed the GENIUS Act into law! This will strengthen the U.S. dollar and protect the dollar’s status as the world’s reserve currency. We are making America the crypto capital of the world!" This act aims to bolster both traditional and digital aspects of U.S. financial infrastructure.

In an evening post on July 18, Feenstra turned his attention to agricultural policy: "President Trump’s “One, Big, Beautiful Bill” is a victory for farmers. It invests $50 billion in the farm economy and supports producers. Ag is the economic engine of Iowa, and the “Big, Beautiful Bill” is the fuel that keeps our engine running smoothly."

Randy Feenstra has served as a member of Congress since 2021 after succeeding Steve King in representing Iowa's 4th district; prior to this role he was a state senator from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969, Feenstra continues to reside there today and graduated from Dordt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991.
