Rep. Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, shared updates on agricultural policy and constituent visits in a series of tweets posted on July 22 and 23, 2025.
On July 22, Feenstra announced his receipt of a signed copy of the agricultural provisions included in President Trump’s legislative package, stating: "Today, I received a signed copy of the agricultural provisions we secured in President Trump’s 'One, Big, Beautiful Bill.' This law invests in the farm economy, delivers death tax relief & includes my bill to lower the cost of crop insurance for the next generation of farmers."
The following day, Feenstra highlighted meetings with constituents visiting Washington D.C. He wrote: "It was great to see Brian and Melissa Moser, from Rock Valley, and her parents, from Sioux Center, during their trip to D.C. Brian coached Beau, my Press Assistant, on the BHRV football team. It is an honor to welcome Iowans to our nation’s capital and serve our communities." That same day he also noted his welcome to Matt Schuiteman from Sioux County for a House Agriculture Committee hearing focused on California's Proposition 12: "It was great to welcome Matt Schuiteman from Sioux County to D.C. for a @HouseAgGOP hearing on California’s ridiculous #Prop12 mandates on Iowa hog farmers. Matt testified about the negative impacts that #Prop12 has on hog health and the financial stability of hog farms in Iowa."
Randy Feenstra succeeded Steve King as representative for Iowa’s 4th district in 2021 after serving in the Iowa Senate for over a decade. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and an alumnus of Dordt University (BA ’91), Feenstra continues to reside in Hull while representing his district at the federal level.
