Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared several messages on July 31, 2025, highlighting the work of his office interns, honoring veterans in Marshalltown, and advocating for biofuel legislation.

On National Intern Day, Feenstra posted a message recognizing two interns: "Today, on #NationalInternDay, I want to recognize Ariana & Matt who interned in our D.C. office this summer. From answering phone calls to sorting mail, I appreciate their hard work on behalf of Iowans. Our country’s future is in good hands with young people like Ariana & Matt!" (July 31, 2025).

Later that day, he acknowledged the service of military veterans with a reference to a display at the Iowa Veterans Home: "This patriotic tribute to our veterans is on display at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. THANK YOU to our brave veterans who answered the call to serve our nation and made incredible sacrifices to defend our liberties and freedoms." (July 31, 2025).

Feenstra also addressed energy policy by calling for permanent legislation supporting E15 biofuels: "We must get permanent, year-round #E15 passed and signed into law. Homegrown Iowa biofuels lower prices at the pump, grow our farm economy & reduce our dependence on foreign energy. Permanent, year-round access to #E15 supports American energy dominance!" (July 31, 2025).

Randy Feenstra has served as the representative for Iowa's 4th District since 2021 after replacing Steve King and previously held a seat in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a BA in 1991.
