Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, highlighted his team’s recent community engagements and legislative priorities in a series of social media posts on August 6 and 7, 2025.
On the morning of August 6, Feenstra reported that his regional director attended a local economic event: "This morning, our Regional Director — Jim — attended the Kossuth-Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation Annual Breakfast in Whittemore. Growing our economy, driving investment into our communities, and supporting our Main Streets are top priorities for me."
Later that day, he marked National Community Health Center Week by noting another staff visit: "During National Community Health Center Week, I’m glad that our Regional Director — Abby — could visit All Care Health Center in Council Bluffs. Our 'One, Big, Beautiful Bill' invests $50 billion into rural hospitals and health centers, which will strengthen healthcare in Iowa."
In an evening post on August 6, Feenstra shared details from another local event: "Tonight, our Regional Director — Jim — attended the Wright County Farm Bureau Annual Dinner at the Heartland Museum in Clarion. I will always be a strong voice for our farmers, producers, and rural communities!"
Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District in Congress since replacing Steve King in 2021. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991.
