Senator Joni Ernst highlighted recent activities supporting small businesses and fiscal responsibility in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

On August 12, 2025, Ernst thanked Small Business Administration Administrator Isabel Guzman for visiting Iowa. She wrote, "Thanks for coming to Iowa, @SBA_Kelly and for all you do for our small businesses! Come back to the Hawkeye State anytime!"

The following day, August 13, Ernst recapped her participation in an event focused on entrepreneurship. She posted, "A great day at my third annual Entrepreneur Expo with @epaleezeldin, @SBA_Kelly, and @RepFeenstra. Expanding opportunities for small businesses ensures that innovation will continue to thrive in the heartland!"

Later on August 13, Ernst referenced her ongoing efforts to promote government accountability. In her words: "I’ve been rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse for nearly a decade with my squeal awards. I will always fight to ensure your tax dollars are being used responsibly."

Joni Ernst has served as U.S. Senator from Iowa since 2015 and is known for her focus on issues related to government efficiency and support of local business communities.
