Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, shared updates on his recent activities supporting Iowa agriculture and business in a series of posts on August 13, 2025.
In a post made at 19:20 UTC, Feenstra described a meeting with @epaleezeldin, stating, "Yesterday, I had the chance to talk to @epaleezeldin and thanked him for coming to Iowa. Under his leadership, we are cutting burdensome regulations that hurt our farmers, lowering prices at the pump, and investing in homegrown Iowa biofuels and our agricultural communities."
Later that day at 22:02 UTC, Feenstra recounted a tour of Mid-States in Nevada alongside Senator Joni Ernst, SBA Administrator Kelly, @epaleezeldin, and State Senator Kara Warme. He wrote: "Yesterday, I toured Mid-States in Nevada with @SenJoniErnst, @SBA_Kelly, @epaleezeldin, and State Senator Kara Warme. The 'One, Big, Beautiful Bill' will help Iowa businesses invest in their operations and grow our economy."
At 23:41 UTC on the same day, Feenstra highlighted his office’s presence at a local agricultural event: "Today, our Regional Director — Jim — attended the Pocahontas County Farm Bureau Annual Dinner at the Pocahontas Golf Club. Our farmers and producers make significant contributions to our economy and communities. I’ll always be a strong voice for Iowa agriculture!"
Feenstra has been active in Congress since replacing Steve King in 2021. Prior to his current role representing Iowa's 4th District in Washington D.C., he served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra is an alumnus of Dordt University.
