Senator Joni Ernst, representing Iowa, shared updates on her recent activities and legislative efforts through a series of posts on social media.

On August 15, 2025, Ernst highlighted her visit to a manufacturing facility in Marshalltown, stating: "Rolled through Marshalltown’s @RinkerMaterials, one of the leading manufacturers of water and drainage pipe products in America. My Critical Infrastructure Manufacturing Feasibility Act will help manufacturers like them better source key materials and make more products here!" Rinker Materials is recognized as a major producer of water and drainage infrastructure components in the United States. Ernst's mention of the Critical Infrastructure Manufacturing Feasibility Act refers to legislation she has introduced aimed at supporting domestic manufacturers by improving their access to essential materials.

Later that day, Ernst posted about hosting an official from the Small Business Administration at a state event: "It was amazing to host @SBA_Kelly here in Iowa and have the chance to show her what the great @IowaStateFair is all about!" The Iowa State Fair is an annual event known for showcasing local agriculture, business innovation, and community spirit.

On August 17, 2025, Ernst reflected on her participation in a military ceremony: "It was a privilege to speak at the send-off ceremony for the 103rd Sustainment Command. These brave soldiers represent the best of Iowa, and our state is grateful for their service." The 103rd Sustainment Command is an Army Reserve unit with deep ties to Iowa.

Ernst has been active in advocating for infrastructure investment and support for both local businesses and military personnel. As a U.S. Senator from Iowa since 2015, she has focused much of her legislative work on issues relevant to her state's economy and security interests.
