Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, highlighted key policy priorities in a series of social media posts on September 10, 2025. The tweets addressed tax policy, rural economic development, and agricultural advocacy.
On September 10, Feenstra posted about recent changes to the child tax credit under the Trump administration: "President Trump's Working Families Tax Cuts increase the child tax credit to $2,200 and make it permanent. That means parents have more money in their pockets to raise their children."
Later that day, he shared details from a meeting with local business leaders: "I enjoyed sitting down with my neighbors from the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce to talk about how we can grow our rural communities and strengthen our economy. We also discussed how the Working Families Tax Cuts will be jet fuel for our economy and invest in our main streets."
Feenstra also commented on agricultural issues following a discussion with industry representatives: "I had a great time chatting with @IowaPork about getting a new Farm Bill signed into law, opening new export markets for Iowa pork, and holding California accountable for its attacks on Iowa agriculture. I’ll keep working to support our hog farmers and defend rural Iowa!"
Feenstra has served as the representative for Iowa’s 4th congressional district since defeating Steve King in 2020. He previously held office in the Iowa Senate from 2009 until his election to Congress. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and an alumnus of Dordt University (BA, 1991), Feenstra continues to reside in Hull while focusing on issues relevant to his constituents.
