Senator Joni Ernst, a Republican representing Iowa in the United States Senate, posted a series of messages on social media highlighting her ongoing activities and advocacy efforts.

On September 11, 2025, Senator Ernst called for support for military personnel and emergency workers. She wrote, "Join me in praying for the men and women at the U.S Naval Academy and our first responders."

The following day, on September 12, 2025, Ernst addressed animal research funding in a post referencing Dr. Anthony Fauci. She stated, "This is bananas! I’m working with @WhiteCoatWaste to stop this monkey business and defund Dr. Fauci's monkey island." The White Coat Waste Project is an advocacy group that campaigns against taxpayer-funded animal experiments.

Later that same day, Ernst highlighted her engagement with constituents from Iowa who visited Washington D.C. She shared, "It’s always a privilege to welcome Iowans to our nation’s capital. Was glad to have folks representing the National Day of Prayer, @IowaADA, and @SiouxCenterIA bringing Iowa voices and values all the way to Washington!"
