U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) voted in favor of the fiscal year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives this week.
“With conflicts around the world and foreign nations intent on weakening the United States, it is crucial that we fully fund our military, invest in our national defense, and advance President Trump’s peace through strength agenda. My vote for the National Defense Authorization Act ensures that we deliver a much-needed pay raise for our troops, support our military families, strengthen defense manufacturing, and stand up to China, Iran, and other enemies,” said Rep. Feenstra. “Through the NDAA, we also included provisions to keep our border secure, protect our country from dangerous drug cartels, ban the creation of a digital dollar, and eliminate wasteful spending unrelated to our national defense. Under the Trump administration, we will continue to put the American warfighter and our national security first.”
Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th congressional district since 2021 after succeeding Steve King. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. He was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and continues to reside there. Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a bachelor's degree in 1991.
