Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, posted a series of messages on September 17, 2025, addressing topics ranging from celebrating fellow lawmakers to economic and health initiatives in Iowa.
In his first post of the day, Feenstra congratulated Senator Chuck Grassley on his birthday, writing: "Happy Birthday to Iowa’s incredible Senator and my good friend, @ChuckGrassley! Iowa is fortunate to have your leadership, experience, and voice in the U.S. Senate." (September 17, 2025).
Later that morning, Feenstra discussed a meeting with the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI), highlighting efforts to improve the state’s economic climate. He stated: "It was great to meet with @IowaABI and discuss how we can make Iowa the top state for agriculture, business, and manufacturing! We also talked about how — by passing our package of pro-growth tax cuts — we delivered certainty for Iowa businesses to invest, expand, and hire." (September 17, 2025).
In an afternoon message focused on health policy, Feenstra addressed cancer screening initiatives: "Receiving a cancer diagnosis is devastating news for patients and scary for families. But, via early detection, there's real hope for recovery. It’s why I voted to expand early detection screenings for many types of cancer so that we can catch cancer when it's most treatable." (September 17, 2025).
Feenstra has represented Iowa's 4th congressional district since replacing Steve King in 2021. Prior to serving in Congress, he was a member of the Iowa Senate from 2009 until his election to federal office. Born in Hull in 1969 and a graduate of Dordt University in 1991 with a BA degree, Feenstra continues to reside in Hull.
