U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) voted in favor of a congressional resolution honoring the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk. The resolution was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Charlie Kirk was a devoted husband and loving father who committed himself to our American values of civic discourse and free speech. The impact that he had on our college campuses as a conservative voice was enormous and immeasurable,” said Rep. Feenstra. “I was proud to support a resolution honoring Charlie’s life and legacy while condemning political violence in the strongest terms possible. We will always remember Charlie and his important work elevating the voices of young Americans and promoting conservative values.”

Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th district in Congress since 2021, after succeeding Steve King. Before joining Congress, he served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa, in 1969, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991.
