Rep. Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, addressed several national and international issues in a series of posts on September 23, 2025.

In a morning post, Feenstra commented on Middle East policy, stating: "Recognizing a Palestinian state while Hamas terrorists kill innocent Israelis and hold hostages with no remorse is wrong. I’m grateful that President Trump is working nonstop to secure the release of the hostages and advance peace through strength across the globe." (September 23, 2025).

Later that day, Feenstra highlighted recent legislative achievements related to healthcare: "Republicans passed and President Trump signed into law $50 billion for rural hospitals and rural healthcare. This historic infusion of resources will improve patient care, support healthcare professionals, and keep our rural hospitals and clinics open and operational." (September 23, 2025).

In an evening update, Feenstra responded to news regarding an attempted assassination: "It’s great news that the man who tried to assassinate President Trump in Florida has been found guilty on all charges. We will not allow political violence to go unpunished." (September 23, 2025).

Feenstra succeeded Steve King as representative for Iowa's 4th district in Congress after serving in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969, he continues to reside there and holds a BA from Dordt University.
