U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) released a statement today in recognition of National Manufacturing Day, highlighting the role of manufacturing in Iowa’s economy.
“Today, we celebrate Manufacturing Day in Iowa and recognize the critical importance of manufacturing to our economy. Domestic manufacturing supports good-paying jobs in our communities, strengthens our supply chains, and helps reduce our dependence on foreign nations for the goods and products that Iowa families need and rely on,” said Rep. Feenstra. “We also honor Iowa workers in the manufacturing sector who keep our economy moving and make invaluable contributions to our communities. With the passage of President Trump’s tax cuts, we will make Iowa manufacturing dominant and create good-paying jobs for Iowa workers.”
Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District in Congress since 2021 after replacing Steve King. He previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa, in 1969, Feenstra continues to reside there. He graduated from Dordt University with a bachelor’s degree in 1991.
