Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on his official Twitter account highlighting recent developments related to domestic manufacturing, tax policy, and a presidential honor.

On October 14, 2025, Feenstra emphasized the importance of domestic industry, stating, "Domestic manufacturing supports good-paying jobs in our communities, strengthens our supply chains & helps reduce our dependence on foreign nations. With President Trump’s tax cuts, we’ll make Iowa manufacturing dominant & bring industry back to the U.S.!"

The following day, on October 15, 2025, he acknowledged a posthumous honor awarded by former President Trump: "Today, President Trump posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Charlie Kirk on what would have been his 32nd birthday. He was a remarkable man who truly deserved this honor."

Later that same day, Feenstra addressed tax policy aimed at families and children: "President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts invests in our kids and our families. From creating Trump accounts for newborns to permanently increasing the child tax credit to $2,200, this law is an investment in the next generation and Iowa’s families."

Feenstra has served as the U.S. Representative for Iowa's 4th district since 2021, succeeding Steve King. Prior to his time in Congress, he was a member of the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969, Feenstra continues to reside there and is an alumnus of Dordt University.
