James D. Scholten's campaign committee refunded $1,500 in April

The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate James D. Scholten, SCHOLTEN4IOWA Campaign Committee, refunded $1,500 in April, according to data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

Candidates can refuse or return contributions for a variety of reasons. Contributions may be refunded, for instance, in the event that the candidate does not want to be affiliated with a contributor, a contribution exceeds legal limits, or the candidate withdraws from a race.

SCHOLTEN4IOWA Campaign Committee has refunded $3,500 total since the beginning of the 2020.
