The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate James D. Scholten, SCHOLTEN4IOWA Campaign Committee, refunded $400 to Jeffrey Couch on September 29, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

According to the FEC data, the following reason was listed for the refunded expenditure: 'Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company'.

SCHOLTEN4IOWA Campaign Committee refunded $5,900 total since April 1.
