Residents may dispose of tree debris in the following ways:

1. Residential tree/yard debris may be taken to the Citizen’s Convenience Center located at 5800 28th Street. The fee for tree disposal is $17 per truck load or $32 per ton.
2. Branches & limbs that are 4’ or less in length and less than 4” in diameter may be bundled and placed next to the garbage bin to be picked up during regular garbage collection. Bundles must weigh less than 35 pounds and must have a solid waste sticker attached*.
3. Branches & limbs smaller than the above dimensions may be loosely placed in a residential garbage bin.

All debris left curbside and taken to the tree dump must be free of building material and garbage.

*Solid waste stickers may be purchased at HyVee, Fareway, Wal-Mart, Bomgaars and Wilmes Hardware on Hamilton Boulevard and City Hall Customer Service.
