Today, U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) expressed his approval following the Senate's confirmation of Brooke Rollins as the 33rd U.S. Secretary of Agriculture.
In a statement, Feenstra said, "I congratulate Brooke Rollins on her confirmation to be President Trump’s Secretary of Agriculture. As the backbone of Iowa’s economy and our rural communities, we need to advance policies that strengthen agriculture and support our hardworking farmers and producers." He emphasized several priorities including passing the Farm Bill, preventing foreign animal disease spread, supporting new American farmers, expanding export markets, ensuring trading partners adhere to laws, and enabling nationwide year-round access to E-15.
