Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. This legislation aims to ensure that infants who survive failed abortion procedures receive immediate and quality medical care. U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) supported the bill, emphasizing his commitment to pro-life values.
Rep. Feenstra stated, “As a father of four, I know that children are one of life’s greatest blessings, and as a Christian, my faith teaches me that God created us all for a purpose and a reason.” He further explained his support for the legislation by saying, “That’s why I voted for legislation to ensure that babies who survive botched abortions receive the immediate and high-quality medical care that they need and deserve. As a proud, pro-life Iowan, I will always be a strong voice for the unborn and defend innocent life.”
Feenstra has recently been recognized with an “A+” rating from SBA Pro-Life America for maintaining a perfect pro-life voting record during the 118th Congress.
